Over the past few days Stewie (14 months old) has been continuously licking her behind and it is more than normal. She is active, running, barking, behaving and going to bathroom normally like other dogs. She always wants to sit down and lick her behind. I believe poop worms are not causing this problem. I read somewhere that the best way to stop is cleaning her 'system', so I gave her a bath yesterday and made sure to clean that area. It helped a little bit, but today she starts doing it again. Does anyone know how to stop her from doing this?

Thanks..

if its her anus area, she could have blocked anal glands. Give her something that contains fibre (Weetabix etc) this might help.
if not a trip to the vet im affraid.

The good news is, even if you need to go to the vet, they don't usually charge much to clear the glands.
