Hello everyone! I am a new Basset Owner - have had other dogs my whole life, but he's something different - that's for sure. SOOOOO happy I've found this site as I can't stop reading and am WAY too paranoid, worried about this pup... not sure if we're doing things right.

He's 9 weeks and already knows to sit and is starting to know his name.

I have a question though - about once a day, he goes into little 'fits' where his back legs give out and his eyes roll. He can't move but he bucks his legs out as though running. The first one I noticed lasted about 30 seconds and now tonights was a little over a minute. Any ideas about what this could be?

Also, my husband works from home quite a bit but there will be times when Ollie has to be on his own. Any advice on how to make this easier for him?
Thanks!
