I think one of my kids accidentally shut my bassets tail in the door. He wags it still, but it sags about 1/3 of the way up from his back. I tried to touch the area, but he seems annoyed with me doing so (but he is never a fan of people messing with his tail). Should I just let him rest for a while or do I need to take him to a vet? I am worried if it is broke that it will heal in the bent position and do not want this. Any advise??? :?:

Take him to the vet.........by the sag you mentioned, it sounds like it has been broke.
