Can anyone tell me if they use Ivermectin for their Bassets, and if so how do you figure the doseage. I have 7 Bassets and I am trying to find a cost effective way to keep them healthy. I can not seem to find a dosage chart any where.

Been using Ivermectin for years.
Depending on your syringe, it may be CC or ML - both are the same measurement.
1/10th cc for every 10lbs.
30lb dog = 3/10th cc
40lb dog = 4/10th cc
50lb dog = 5/10th cc
60lb dog = 6/10th cc
I pull up the correct dosage of Ivermectin with syringe then fill up the rest of the syringe with most time sugar free furit drink that I am drinking.
After doing that, I squirt it into the back of their mouth. I do this once a month.
If you go the straight Ivermectin route, you will need to also add in a worming program since the straight Ivermectin is not like HeartGuard Plus that also contains Pyrantel.
I use the Ivermectin once a month and worm every 3 months.
