yesterday while I was petting my 12 month old basset mix I found a quarter sized lump just under his jawline its semi solid and movable. It doesn't seem to be causing him any discomfort he is eating, drinking, and playing normally. this morning it started bleeding (pink and clear fluid) and is now about the size of a small marble. do you guys have any ideas as to what it could be? I don't have the money to take him to the vet unnecessarily

Part of responsible pet ownership is expecting the unplanned Vet visits. Yea, I know it's rough when money is tight, been there and done that, but with pets, that comes with the territory.

Could be a blood hematoma, a blocked salivary gland, or inflammed bee sting??????

Post a pic.
