Hey, it's been quite a long time since I've been on here, but I've been doing some research and decided to throw this question out here on this forum. My 4-year-old Basset has been urinating in his kennel on a pretty frequent basis. He took broad-spectrum antibiotics close to two months ago (for an unrelated issue) with no difference. I chalked it up to behavorial issues due to me now being pregnant (the other two dogs were also acting out for a while after I got pregnant). Today when i got home from work and let all the dogs outside, he urinated as normal, which I didn't pay attention to, then he proceeded to make his rounds marking the yard. That's when I noticed he urinated a couple of droplets in the last place he marked. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, I will be taking him to the vet tomorrow - I just wanted opinions other than what I've been reading. Hoping it's not as bad as what has been indicated. Thanks!

UPDATE: He has a urinary tract infection and buildup of crystals. He's on antibiotics and will have a permanent diet change. On a side note, they found a heart murmur on exam :(
