Hello , I have a almost 2 year old basset named Lucy ,she has so much personality and she always makes me smile. I've had a few ear infections since I got her but I have been checking and cleaning ears on weekly basis and she hasn't had one in awhile( knock on wood) But beginning of winter she wasn't eating ,she was hyper sensitive to one side of her neck and she would go outside and gulp snow. Took her to vet and he said she had swollen tonsil!! Never knew dogs could get this, so she was put on antibiotic and it cleared up. So I just noticed she is gulping snow again, appetite is still good tho. So will keep an eye on her and hope she is not getting again. Has anyone else experienced swollen tonsils in their dog?
Thanks :)
