| Post subject: | A little help- new basset mom |
Hi Everybody, I hope that you are all having a wonderful day. I am new to the world of the basset hound and let me tell you- it's the best ride I have ever been on. My 'daughter' Dolly is an eight month old, tri color, flabby, beautiful lady. I found it funny that the stereotype of a basset is lazy and not energetic. This makes me laugh as my girl is a bundle of energy and has as much, if not more energy than my four year old lab (who she loves and adores). I just have a few questions for all of you experts: **Dolly is not a great eater, she has no interest in her food and we have tried several of the best brands. **she itches all the time- doesn't have any soft spots or fleas and I have cut chicken and grains from her diet. **recently she has started throwing up a little. Energy levels never change, she always seems happy and very active. Our vet is not worried but I would love to hear if any of you have had the same issues or if you could offer any advice?
