hi -

has anyone ever used (effectively) a 'dirtstopper' a/o waterhog type rug?

i have twelve large basset feet (and four cat paws) traipsing in and out and in and out, dragging wet, muddy, slushy weather into my kitchen.

i've seen these rugs advertised as being able to stop paw tracks in their tracks, so to speak, but does anyone know if they really work? i'd need a rather large one given that the dogs all seem to enter en masse, so it would be rather expensive, but if it works it would be worth it.

if anyone has experience with these or knows of anything effective at leaving the wet paws at the door, i'd appreciate the input.

thanks in advance,
