I think it would be a great idea if you would water mark our photos, or put some kind of bassetsunlimited marker on them........or you could even put a program on the site that disables right clicking and saving images. You can see how this works by visiting my site and right clicking on an image. Just a suggestion!!!........Great site!

The program that disables folks from stealing pics off sites do not work.

You can still take the pic one of 3 ways with the code you are using:

1) Using IE browser, hold cursor over pic and then look at the little bar that comes up where you can save the image.

2) Move cursor over image, while holding the left mouse button down, click on your mouse's right button. Now you save the pic.

3) Go to the top of your browser, click on VIEW, scroll down to SOURCE, click on it, then it gives you the source code of your webpage along with the physical address of your pic to save.

As far as watermarks, how do I add an water mark to images that are posted on the forum that the users add?

There is really no safety net on the internet when it comes to text and pics. If someone wants it, they will take it.

Even sites that are flash based, all you have to do is take a screen shot of the page and then crop the other stuff out till you have the pic you want.

Here is an image I added a watermark to.

[img:640:480]http://www.bassetsunlimited.com/gallery/ph1.jpg[/img]

It has a watermark on top, but if someone wanted to crop it out, it could be cropped out.

I noticed on the Basset Hound Memorial that you didn't put the owner's name or the user name. Could you maybe do that?

Mary Ann that is up to those who want to submit that info.

Some people do not want to post private info on the net such as their name and I have no problem with those that do not wish to post that info.
