Hi there,

Half considering getting a 2nd dog and wondered if there were any tips on going from 1 dog to 2 dogs.

i've read that as we've a girl, we should go for a boy... but apart from that i don't know much else.

Are there any tips/suggestions/experiences anyone can share with me?

Hello, we have 2 bassets, 2 yr old male, and 8 mth old girl, I got the girl, cuz I felt my boy was lonely, they are the best of friends, all I suggest, is get a bigger water bowl and a bigger bed :D 2 is more fun than one, and when you have to leave them alone, they have company

My husband and I are going to adopt one basset puppy, although he is wanting to adopt a second at the same time. I was just wondering if that is good idea. I would say so after reading some posts here. We also have a 5 year old retired racing greyhound so we would definately have a pack. Any comments or suggestions for us? :D
