so we did the usual puppy visit at the nearby vet everything checked out fine (no worms, didn't need shots nothing).

Today Fred wakes up sick (diarrhea really bad with mucus which turned into straight mucus) so I called the usual vet they wouldn't be able to see her until monday and wouldn't give me any advice. So I call another local vet they right away said they were booked but bring her in they'll make room a sick puppy is nothing to wait about.

so we bring her in to the new vet and they squeezed her right in. They checked her paperwork and she was way overdue for her shot, our regular vet said she was current when she actually wasn't. She also had a heavy worm infestation as well. So Fred got her booster shot today and she got a free heartguard and some take home de-wormer and frontline plus. And we found a stray kitten recently who had fleas and they gave us some revolution for her.

also we have found a paws down winner for food for Fred while there. They sell Burns pet food so I picked up a little bag and mixed some with her dinner and meds and she picked out the burns and left the diamond!

Sorry to hear she is sick, hope she gets better fast..

Sounds like a paws down winner on a new vet too.

definetely did! they were so great to us and Fred loved it there. I could not believe how accomendating they were.

as for Fred she is feeling much better too I think it's because the new food I never saw her eat and clean the bowl but we feed her 1/2 cup of straight burns food and she licked her bowl clean. I'm sure she'll have some tummy upset but she was literally picking around her old food. And she is more rambuncious than ever!

I was quite angry with our old vet and the techs at this new vet office had heard some pretty unsettling things from people who had gone there before so now i'm glad I have found somewhere new. I am so happy we got our little Fred straightened out. And she was quite the celebrity there today too she even got her picture taken by the woman at the front desk.
