One of Rossi's nicknames is bulldozer. If there Wilbur or one of the cats is in a dog bed, Rossi likes to run full speed with his nose to the ground and bulldoze the bed until it is completely flipped over and on top of whatever animal was in the bed.

See....that shows you the intellegence of this breed...they don't go all macho, an attack an animal, they use their brain and callculate the exact spot to which hit the bed, to properly expell the animal, and cover it up with the bed.
You know I often fight with my brother over which breed is more intellegent, the Basset or the Golden Retriever....both breeds are very loyal, but if you ask me it is definately the Basset whom is smartest. The Golden (which he owns) will sit, wave, crawl, sing, lay down, rollover, and even let you put the treat on her nose, then when you give the command, she will flip it up and catch it. Very impressive....but my basset's were much more intelligent....they may sit or rollover, but they would never do all of those tricks for one stupid treat...they would just take it from you! Now that's intelligence They know they would burn far too many calories doing all those tricks, for the little calories in that small treat
