well, yeah, we did...lol..now we have 5 dogs and I still CANT believe my hubby agreed to get another one...lol
we were NOT looking, seriously but seems like every time a co worker has a dog or knows about somebody that has a dog to adopt, they ALWAYS comes to me!
We actually had 2 people at work contacting us lately wondering if we would adopt their basset hound!
funny enough, the last one, I remember when she 1st looked for a basset pup, I kept telling her, why dont you adopt an older one from a rescue?pups are HARD work! of course, she KNEW what she was doing and bla bla bla...the pup, a little female is not even 6 month old and she texted me this week saying "my husband HATES her, I cant get her potty trained, do you want her?...
well, we had already gave our word to another co worker so I kept my word to him.
I KNEW that was going to happen, bassets are just not for everybody and then pups of any breeds are again not for everybody.
So the one we actually got is a little 10 months old neutered guy. The wife works at the vet and she ended up adopting tru the yrs 6 dogs that people were bringing it to put down. They needed to downsized but not at any cost so he approched me about 1 month ago and we decided to give it a try. That poor little dude had parvo and the breeder brought him at the vet to put him down and she rescued him. He is now all good and healthy and HUGE!!

so well, here is the pics I was able to take today.

He is a really handsome boy! Wow, how lucky you are to have so many dogs! We have always only had two dogs at a time. So glad you are able to help this fellow out. Maybe we could see pictures of your whole crew?

We are lucky to be able to have 5 dogs as we live out in the country, on 15 acres and we basically have no neighbour within 2 miles all around.
We pay $$$ on gas now as we need to communte 45 miles each way to go to work but we would not move anywhere else I want to had that we do ride motorcycles on nice days

Beautiful dogs! I think it's great that you have such a nice pack!

Mayder, now called "goober" or Goobee for short...LOL is doing really good, can be left wihtout supervison for decent amount of time (phhewww!!) and weighs 55 pounds!!! YEAH, 55 pounds!!! and he just turned 1 yr old in october....
